As an award endowed with funds from the Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund (OSOTF), students must meet the following criteria: (1) Canadian Citizenship/Permanent Resident/Protected Person; (2) Ontario residency, as per the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development guidelines; and (3) financial need. Receiving OSAP, for example, demonstrates eligibility in all three criteria for this award.
To be awarded on the basis of financial need to an outstanding Innis College undergraduate student. The recipient must have achieved distinction in the political, social, or athletic life of the College or University and would normally be expected to have a CGPA of at least 2.0. The highest sessional grade point average (SGPA) will be the determining factor in the event of equally qualified applicants.
