As an award endowed with funds from the Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund (OSOTF), students must meet the following criteria: (1) Canadian Citizenship/Permanent Resident/Protected Person; (2) Ontario residency, as per the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development guidelines; and (3) financial need. Receiving OSAP, for example, demonstrates eligibility in all three criteria for this award.

Awarded to an Innis College student in financial need, from the Faculty of Arts and Science on the basis of excellent academic achievement. The recipient will have completed at least five full credits and no more than thirteen. They will be selected for their volunteer work outside the university.
