As an award endowed with funds from the Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund (OSOTF), students must meet all of the following criteria: (1) Canadian Citizenship/Permanent Resident/Protected Person; (2) Ontario residency, see “How do I know if I qualify as an Ontario resident for student loan purposes?”; and (3) financial need.  Receiving OSAP, for example, demonstrates eligibility in all three criteria for this award.

To be awarded on the basis of financial need to Innis College undergraduate degree students for outstanding voluntary activity that takes place off campus and outside the requirements of a course and that represents the legacy of Harold Innis. Recipients would normally be expected to have a CGPA of at least 2.0. To receive this award, recipients would normally be expected to register at Innis College in the subsequent Fall/Winter academic session.

To be awarded to an Innis College undergraduate degree student in the Faculty of Arts and Science (FAS). The Wasser Achievement Awards aim to encourage student leadership at all levels and in all years at the College. They are to be awarded on the basis of academic standing, contribution to Innis College, the University of Toronto, their workplace or their community. The awards will be decided at the end of each winter session and will be tenable on registration in the next session. Candidates for a Wasser Achievement Award who have previously received a Wasser Achievement Award will be considered on the basis of achievement since receipt of the last award.
