To be awarded to full time University of Toronto students on the basis of financial need. Academic merit will also be considered. Eligible students will have completed at least 4.0 credits and be returning to undergraduate study within the University of Toronto. Applicants must submit for adjudication a piece of original work, demonstrating their ability to discuss Hungarian themes in relation to their area of study. Letters of reference and a transcript may be required.

One award per year per program. Newly admitted transfer students are eligible. Students are eligible for this award only during their first opportunity to enroll in a subject POSt (whether upon finishing 4.0 credits or upon transferring to the Faculty).
